3D model description

I have desgined this 3D printable working combination lock. Although it is not so strong, it can be used to lock a suitcase, a gift or just to play with it.

It shall be printed in 3 main pieces, and additional 3 wheels with your customly selected numbers. The package contains all combinations with numbers between 0 to 9, so you can use any combination between 000 and 999.

After printing it, it shall be assembled using any glue, to hold the 2 half cases together.

3D printing settings

I used the following settings on my Ender 3, using PLA filament:
- Nozzle size: 0.4mm
- Layer height: 0.2mm
- Wall line count: 4
- Top, bottom layers: 4
- Infill density: 20%
- Printing temperature: 210 °C
- Build plate temperature: 50 °C
- Print speed: 50mm/s
- If the bed doesn't stick well, it is recommended to use ~8 mm Brim. You can remove it easily afterwards.

Note that temperatures and print speed may differ depending on the used material and printer, but these are good for starting point.
