A cheap and simple antenna rotator for small beams. This was designed and used to drive a small directional antenna I made.
Driven by a simple RC servo, I used a metal gear digital servo LewanSoul LD-3015MG and was driven with a simple servo tester and later i used an Arduino to give better control and a scan option. The rotating shaft was just a length of 8mm diameter aluminium rod pressed into the printed gear and rotated on two 608 skateboard bearings. I then made a mag mount to accept the rotator for use with the car on high ground. The legs are 16mm carbon fibre and each foot is fitted with two 15 long by 10 dia neo magnets.
