3D model description

The Best Filament Spooler for various sized spools from 250 gm to 1 kg. Add a pair of 2.0" x 1.0" x .5" wide bearings creates a silky smooth and silent spooler reducing wear on your 3D printer drive parts thus improving print quality. The quick thread allows a variety of different spool sizes of filament to be changed in under 30 seconds. There is a socket on the end of the mandrel to accept a 1/4" drive which can be used with a cordless drill and an empty filament spool to quickly strip fishing lines on many fishing reels.


3D printing settings

Printable on 6" x 6" baseplate. All parts shown were printed with ASA in 13.5 & 13.3 Hrs each. The Cone nut was printed in 5.75 Hrs. No support was used as this material is has excellent bridging qualities and low odour compared to ABS. The proprietary thread prints well although a light dressing of imperfections with sandpaper will allow a faster spin.
