3D model description

This mod allows you to mount 3x 3A batteries instead of the regular 9V battery. there is also enough place to mount a small motor driver and reduce the amount of shields on the Arduino.

The model is designed to fit this motor driver: https://goo.gl/v8ADzU

you will need some Prong Fastener (like these ones https://goo.gl/KCKwi9)

Hallo and thanks,
I see the pics now.

Hello and thanks!
The holding board is a new version, I had a switch mount (if you want to use it, you have to mount the back cover of the SMARS Zero on one of the slots) and a bigger sled, so you can mount the lipo charger and a booster (so you have 5V on the board instead of 3.7V). Yes, you have to print two of the "battery adapter.stl" and you have to cut some pieces of the Prong Fasteners and make a jump between the 2 vertical lines and insert one piece in the horizontal one. In this way you connect the 3 batteries in series. This weekend I'll upload a detail picture of it.

Hello Tuitxy,

I really like the SMARS series, great job!

Just downloaded the files and found that the "holding board.stl" is a bit different from what I see on the image.
And I don't really see how the battery connections come together with Prong Fasteners.
Do I need to print two pieces of "battery adapter.stl"-s?

Any advice/detailed image would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Miklos
