Terminator - ARRIVAL - by SPARX

3D model description

After seen the advertising poster of the TV series I got the idea of a lamp with sound . . . almost a ship in a bottle. Once I had sourced a 250mm sphere I could begin designing the sculpture to be able to fit the opening.

I SHARE MY WORK FOR OTHERS TO ENJOY. . .PLEASE DO NOT SHARE THESE FILES ON SOCIAL MEDIA OR OTHER WEBSITES. LINKS TO THIS PAGE ARE ACCEPTED

Now should you wish to print this without the sphere and electronics feel free . .
Please do not scale down any further ..The model itself is 1/6 scale and is same scale as most of my models.
I have included 3 faces and two torso’s for all the purists who will tell you that you cannot have bare metal while transporting. . but its my model! However, the choice is yours.
You may need to read the PDF to get the best out of assembly and printing orientation.

So a very high resolution file with lots of detail and full instructions.
I cannot offer any support for the enclosed Arduino file or parts used, these are listed in PDF.
All the parts have been printed and developed to print, As you can tell by the file name some of the torso’s are up to print/version 8! So that’s 14 torso parts printed and 6 faces! All pieces have been tested and they print out very easy as long as you follow the settings in the PDF file .
It was necessary for me to have the face and head separated to fit the LED in the eye . .also the torso has a tube running through the body to feed the wires, this means you have to fill the hole in her buttock after feeding wire through body . . Yes splitting the file in two also necessary to get best print quality from parts.
Recently I have been asked “why this is not printing? “ Or “This is fill of holes when printed?” Etc. . . please do not scale down or adjust my recommended settings for infill etc. . . as you can see from the pictures this prints very well and I believe you will be pleased with the result when completed.
All of my models are only released when they can print! so please do not remix or "fix" faults in this model then republish! If there is a fault then let me know . . message me I will answer and fix problem. . apart from that print make enjoy.
I make these models for my own collection but I am always open to suggestions of content for models that cover the DC and Marvel universe as well as TV and film cult images e.g. Barbarella. so message me if you have any ideas . .
As always enjoy the parts on offer.

I SHARE MY WORK FOR OTHERS TO ENJOY. . .

People ask me why the detail is so prominent (not just the Bimbo bits) but the muscle tone, anatomy, clothing etc. on my models . . well as they are primarily made/designed for my own collection I always sand down with fine emery then have models subjected to an Acetone vapor bath for 60 seconds . This seals the shells and makes a smoother appearance but removes some detail . . hence build more detail into the model . . hope you like.

The do,e is a polycarb street light I purchased for the project, but you can use a goldfish bowl or similar . . tip; get the bowl first and size the base accordingly . .

This one will be my first project when my ELEGOO MARS UV Photocuring LCD 3D Printer arrive next week (after tests and getting the grip on LSA 3D printing), is the dome printable in clear resin? if not what did you use as the dome? Thanks.
