"Stay True" started out as 2D drawing on poster i'd designed. I always thought the simplistic shape would lend itself to making a nice 3D model so I thought i'd give it a shot.
I'm not a 3D pro so I used 123D Design from Autodesk as it's easy to use and managed to pull a half decent shape out of it.
I printed the model in ABS plastic and rubbed it smooth with sandpaper and filler. Once I had a nice finish I painted everything with spray enamel.
The wheels turn and the front forks move left and right on the model in the photo's but the file available for download is a single part model. I may upload the model as parts at a later date.
Thanks for looking ….and thanks even more for buying!
Motorbike and rider designed in Autodesk 123D design and 3D printed as separate parts.
Stay True rider and his bike were 3D printed in ABS plastic. The ABS plastic was rubbed smooth, painted and reassembled as a 12" model.
