The Mandalorian doesn't like droids driving his speeders but the latest model looked pretty neat. This was speeder was designed with vintage Kenner Droids in mind.
Much care has been taken with the design and orientation to ensure the print and assembly is enjoyable. If you are confident in printing it is possible to print without supports although I used a small amount on the chassis side fins and engine face.
The Chasis dimensions round up to 192x51x289mm and if that doesn't fit your printer's build envelope the chassis also has a version cut into thirds. Rear, Middle and Front.
For the 3 piece chassis there are guild holes on the rear and mid piece that take a 20mm length of filament. I found that after the rear and mid are joined it was easier to insert the side grills followed by the front chassis piece.
The rear engines can attach to the engine block using (1.75mm) 20mm filament off-cuts also.
The seat is the only piece that I used infill on about 25% with 4 or 5 shells. You will need to print 4 seats.
If you are highly skilled with your printer it is possible to print all pieces without infill and supports, just use enough shells. Having said that I printed the 3-piece chassis and used some supports on the side wings and again used support on the engine faces.
for those who print the 1-piece chassis you may need support on the major bridge (speeder's dashboard).
All pieces have been orientated for the easiest print.
the 3-piece chassis and engines have guide holes which are for (1.75mm) offcuts at 20mm lengths to assist with gluing together.
When gluing the mid-chassis piece to the front-chassis piece I recommend adding the side grills first and test fitting before gluing.
The peg is for a vintage R2 unit
Thank you and enjoy
