Capricorn are two guys (Steve and Baz) who's premium Bowden tubing has taken the 3D printing world by storm over the past few years. Such is the quality, that household names like e3D Online and Creality now integrate it into their products.
Riding on this success, Capricorn decided to expand their product range to include other 3D printing accessories but especially beautiful, premium quality filaments. To welcome everyone to this new era of Capricorn, 3D artist Louise Driggers was commissioned to create an official mascot and here he is: Enki The Capricorn!
Enki takes his name from the Sumerian God of Water, Knowledge and Mischief whom the Capricorn as we know him today evolved from:
Enki is a highly detailed figurine that prints at 19cm high but is made so he will scale up and down well. He has been thoroughly tested not only by Louise and Capricorn themselves but also by Tom Jackson who is famous for his high quality prints and expertise. Enki prints well and cleanly and most importantly without supports!
The beautiful filaments and other Capricorn products can be purchased here:
Enki prints well and without supports. It is advised that if the cooling on your printer favors one side, that you rotate the model to ensure that the point where the tips of the horns are joined to the head get the full benefit. It is suggested you printed with at last 2 perimeters or shells.
