Cube Plateau Problem

3D model description
The Plateau problem consists of finding the surface with minimal area given a boundary. It is what soap films do.
I calculated it numerically for a simple 6-sided frame (spanning two adjacent squares in a right angle), and used three copies to form a closed cube-like object.
The mesh is built in openSCAD, with cylinders and spheres.
I do not own a printer, the pics were taken from a print ordered online.
