3D model description

Have you ever wanted a BMO of your own?

Now you can print and make the most show accurate BMO model that exists! Change BMO's mood by swapping the faces and posing his arms and legs! Check out his internal parts! The attachable gamepad is even included in the stl files! All pieces are referenced from screenshots of the show Adventure Time.

Check out my build guide video here:

3D printing settings

I used a total of 10 filament colors for printing BMO, but you can also paint the parts yourself! I used CCTREE Teal Pla for the body as it matches BMO's color accurately, but Polymaker's teal works well too. The other colors used were yellow, mint green, silver/gray, gold, red, vlue, green, white, and black.

To achieve the matte surface on the front cover and BMO's faces, I used a PEI sheet and printed those surfaces facing the sheet as the first layer. I used 0.2-0.24mm layer height for the prints on my photos, but you can use lower layer heights for finer detail. I also paused the print on the white cube (check video for reference) to color in the black details. The layer height where you pause differs per settings.

I printed most of the parts with regular supports, the only exceptions were the heart and the main body. I printed the heart with tree supports, and the main body was printed with supports everywhere. Custom supports can also be added to the main body's leg hinges to improve the support.

No screws needed, just use CA glue (superglue) to attach the pieces together permanently and a piece of scrap wire for the controller cable (preferrably 1.2-1.5mm in diameter).
