3D model description
I was largely inspired by this very original creation:
... and I found the tree on our Cults3d site:
Many thanks to these two creators!
After modifying this tree (I added a top), I integrated it into a half-sphere that symbolizes a portion of sky and a portion of land.
You can print on a 15x15x15 cm printer:
the shaft (in a single pass): 112x72x1.7 mm
the half-sphere: 138mm diameter, 70mm height
Fit the 2 elements making up the tree together then glue it on the half-sphere in line with the roots, with the 2 shortened bases in front.
The hole in the bottom of the half-sphere simulates the sun or the moon if you place a light behind it.
3D printing settings
CAUTION for the half-sphere:
with a 20% filling, the half-sphere will be rigid but the printing will be about 14h!
with a 0% filling, the half-sphere will be fragile but the printing will be about 5 hours.
It is up to you to choose your fill rate between these two values.
Make a 100% filling for the shaft
No stand, no skirt
No printing problems!
