3D model description

This cable car is an adaptation of the Moléson cable car in Switzerland.

The construction of the model will be carried out in 3 phases: the top station, the departure station and the cabin(s).

There will be 35 rooms for the top building, 39 for the downstream building and 10 for the cabin, for a total of 84 rooms to be printed.

The roller trains of the cabins are mounted with 5mm diameter brass grooved pulleys, the traction motor is a fairly common model ,a Gear-Box S30K 12 that costs between 4 and 5€ on Ebay.

The assembly instructions and nomenclature can be found in a very detailed 29-page PDF with photo and suppliers.

Good construction

On both buildings, the roofs are removable in order to be able to access the motorization and limit switch which is located on the right shoe of each building.

The automation can be done very well via an Arduino or a PLC or directly by hand (simply a switch).
