This is an Avionyx concept & design of a modular sci-fi themed corridor wall and pillar diorama set. I wanted to create something with a general sci-fi theme to it so I can take my various action figure collections (TMNT, Star Wars, Marvel, G.I, Joe) and pose them in front of these corridor pieces for toy photography and also shelf display purposes. This set works well with both 1/12 scale and 1/10 scale.

Print orientation for both pieces is flat on it's back. Support is needed for the wall piece for the curved cutout on the backside (time and material saver). Support is needed for the pillar piece to create the light socket, resulting in very little extra material used, also needed for the curved cutout on the backside (time and material saver)

This set includes 2 pieces to print. Magnet cutouts on the side edges of the panels make it easy and durable to connect to each other, however long you would like to make it be. The magnets can be found on Amazon here Simply super glue them in place but PLEASE PAY ATTENTION as to which edges get which polarity as to not repel when trying to connect the panels together. I used a Sharpie marker to mark each magnet on one side with a "+".

On the rear of the pillar pieces is a cutout to be able to place a battery operated LED ball down into it's socket, if you wish to add lights to it as I have. The LED balls can be found on Amazon here

After printing all of your pieces, you can primer them with automotive primer/filler paint if you wish as I have, to create a matte finish as to not have light reflected off of the PLA when taking toy photography.

All of my photos show them being printed in 0.3mm layer height as to cut down on print time and material.

I used Cura for my slicer.

Layer Height: 0.2mm or 0.3mm
Initial Layer Height: 0.3mm
Monotonic Top/Bottom Order: CHECKED
Infill Density: 10%
Infill Pattern: Lines
Printing Temp: 200-215 degrees
Print Speed: 50.0mm/s
Enable Retraction: CHECKED
Z-Hop When Retracted: CHECKED
Support: Tree for both, touching buildplate. (For the curved cutout on the backside (time and material saver))
Build Plate Adhesion Type: Skirt
