Beschreibung des 3D-Modells

I designed this in Fusion 360 to sit on top of my control box for my CR-10v2/3s, but you could also just use it stand-alone. If you put it on top of the control box, to hold it securely in place, I recommend 1) non-slip padding, 2) rubber feet, or (what I do) 3) magnets on the bottom. There are recesses in the bottom for either (2) 10mm x 60mm x 3mm rectangular magnets, or (4) 15mm x 2mm round magnets, either available off of Amazon.

This has storage on the front face for a large number of spare extruder nozzles and some extra Bowden tube connectors. The nozzles and two of the connector holes are standard 6mm metric threads, and the other 4 connector holes are standard 10mm metric threads. If you are not using a very high precision setting for your print, you may need to ream these out with a 6/10mm tap to clean them up so that they thread smoothly.

On the top, there are two large holes that fit the big size of Purple Glue Sticks, holes for your Allen Wrenches (current version has these enlarged slightly, because I had a couple of complaints that they were too snug), slots for your nozzle wrenches (also readjusted for depth in the current version) and slots for your scraper blades, a number of holes for screwdrivers, nut drivers, or pens/pencils, etc., and a couple of slots that should fit a standard caliper

There is also a large compartment for a spray bottle of isopropyl alcohol (mine are square, which is why I made it that way, but some round ones will fit there, too) or a can of hair spray, or you can just use it for a small parts/screws/nuts collection bin.

The large tray at the back is designed to hold a Raspberry Pi, and provide enough ventilation to it. Version 2 (current 10/18/20) has had the back wall thickened, as the double chamfering on the ventilation holes made it a bit weak.

There is intentionally no filleting or chamfering around the bottom, as the first time I tried to print this WITH filleting (for cosmetic purposes), it warped off of the bed because of poor adhesion at the corners and rounded edges. I'd still recommend a brim, or corner tabs to help stop warping, as long straight runs (such as the sides) do tend to do that. The rest of the model should be nicely and smoothly filleted and/or chamfered for both aesthetics and ease of inserting tools.

I recommend low infill to save time and material, but use high infill around the Allen wrench holes for stability, and 100% infill for the back wall, for strength. You ca set these separately using a "support blocker" (worst name ever) in Cura and changing the parameters for within its volume,
