Crankbait Fishing Lure

Medium deep diving Crankbait with great action and easy to build. I made over 20 prototypes with different lips, air chamber and weights, to make sure it works perfectly!!!

What you need:
-Stainless spring steel wire! (this build depends on the stiffness of spring steel wire! don´t use normal wire!)
-Lead ball (you can use Cheburashka balls or the ones with the hole in them from carp fishing equipment)
-Epoxy
-eyes
-Pliers
-split rings and hooks

optional:
-swivel
-screwed eyes
-paint

Instructions:

1: fill the hole for lead ball with a bit and the hole for the hook hanger completely with epoxy
2: insert the lead ball and the hook hanger into their holes. For the hook hanger, you can choose between a swivel and a hook hanger made of spring steel wire (you see it better on pic 4 how to bend it)
3: insert the main wire bent like on the picture
4. Make sure, the hook hanger is caught by the main wire
5: make a small loop and 2 wraps around
I also uploaded a screwed eye version. I don´t think this needs instructions ;)

Sizes:

80% scale needs:
0.5 - 0.6 mm wire
1g lead ball under 5.8mm diameter
6mm eyes
#10-12 hooks

100% scale needs:
0.6 - 0.8 mm wire
1.8 - 2g lead ball under 7.2mm diameter
8mm eyes
#6-8 hooks

125% scale needs:
0.8 - 1 mm wire
3.6 - 4g lead ball under 9mm diameter
10mm eyes
#5-4 hooks

Stencils:
They allready have a tollerance and can be printed in the same scale as the lure. The one with the scales is propably not printable with fdm printers. I also uploaded a blank DIY stencil, you can make your own designs with thinkercad or meshmixer. I only uploaded one side, so you need to mirror it in your slicer.

Print Settings:
100% infill!
0.1 - 0.2 mm layer height
2 outer lines
no support (only for stencils or to prevent it from falling over)
